Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a Process Engineer to work on live projects within a large multidisciplinary design team in Bristol. You will evaluate process designs, contribute to early contract challenge, and liaise with supply chain for equipment specifications.

You’ll join a team focused on training, growth and progression, with a bespoke Early Careers Development Programme and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering (BEng) or MSc.
• Strong verbal communication with clients and team.
• Good IT skills; Excel, Word, 3D Models, BIM.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.
• Methodical approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate process engineering design, including calculations, mass/energy balances, PFDs and input to control philosophies.
• Be involved in Early Contract to challenge proposals for efficient, sustainable solutions.
• Proactively engage with the supply chain and produce technical specifications for procuring process equipment.
• Assist with onsite commissioning and develop commissioning sequences and performance demonstrations.
• Work to health, safety, quality and environmental management systems and comply with all guidance.
