Mott MacDonald Bentley is recruiting graduates in Manchester for an Early Careers Development Programme. You’ll work on live projects with a large multidisciplinary design team, gaining training and progression opportunities across water, energy and environment sectors.

You’ll engage in process engineering tasks, develop through the company’s development schemes, and benefit from a comprehensive package supporting wellbeing and career growth.

Qualifications

• Graduated or due to graduate with a degree in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering (BEng) or a MSc.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for client liaison and reporting.
• Good IT skills with Excel, Word, 3D models and BIM proficiency.
• Attention to detail and ability to produce technical drawings and reports.
• Methodical approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate process engineering design including process calculations and mass/energy balances.
• Contribute to EC proposals with efficient, sustainable engineering solutions.
• Engage with supply chain and prepare specifications for equipment procurement.
• Assist with onsite commissioning, handover, and commissioning sequences.
• Adhere to health, safety, quality and environmental management systems.
