Mott MacDonald Bentley is recruiting for an early careers engineer based in the UK. You will join a large multidisciplinary design team working on live projects with support to grow your skillset and progress your career.

The role offers training through a bespoke Early Careers Development Programme, with a path toward Chartered status and a comprehensive benefits package. You will contribute to projects across water, energy and environment sectors.

Qualifications

• Graduated or due to graduate with a degree in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering (BEng) or, a post graduate qualification (MSc).
• Excellent verbal communication skills to liaise with clients and team members.
• Good IT skills and familiarity with Excel, Word, 3D Models and BIM.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail with strong report writing.
• Methodical approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate process engineering design including process calculations, mass/energy balances, PIDs and input to control philosophies.
• Involved in Early Contract (EC) to challenge proposals for efficient and sustainable solutions.
• Engage with supply chain and prepare technical specs for procuring process equipment; provide process support.
• Assist with onsite commissioning, handover, and develop commissioning sequences and performance demos.
• Adhere to health, safety, quality and environmental systems and guidance.
