Job summary

Tilbury Douglas is seeking a Graduate MEICA Engineer (Electrical) to join our Infrastructure team, based on a Southwest site, delivering water and wastewater projects.

You’ll work with experienced engineers across electrical, instrumentation, control and automation, supporting design, installation, testing and handover. The program includes mentoring, structured training and a clear path to professional accreditation with IET, building a solid foundation for your engineering career.

Qualifications

• Degree required in Electrical Engineering (2:2 or above).
• Willingness to develop MEICA knowledge across disciplines.
• Full UK driving licence by Feb 2027.
• Interest in electrical engineering and MEICA discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support design, coordination and delivery of MEICA engineering solutions.
• Develop understanding of electrical power, distribution, control and protection.
• Assist with review of electrical designs and drawings.
• Gain exposure to switchgear, motor control centres, motors and VSDs.
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams to develop coordinated solutions.
• Support inspections, testing and commissioning activities.
• Help prepare engineering documentation and handover records.
