Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer for the 2027 Graduate Programme in our Brighton office, joining the Water MEICA team to support electrical engineering across water and wastewater projects.

You will gain practical delivery experience, site information gathering and documentation while developing electrical design knowledge in the water sector. This role emphasizes collaboration, adaptability and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) required.
• Interest in water sector and MEICA engineering beneficial.
• Willingness to work in the Brighton office 4 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Undertake site visits for information gathering and condition assessment.
• Support senior engineers with schedules and technical documents.
• Build site power burden and assess new site requirements.
• Assist in specifying system architectures including fibre network layouts.
• Participate in constructability workshops and contribute practical design solutions.
• Develop technical capability through project work and structured graduate development.
