Job summary

SYSTRA UK & Ireland is seeking an Electrical Engineer with MEICA experience to join the M&E team. You will design and deliver electrical and control systems for water and infrastructure projects, working within budgets, timelines, and quality standards.

The role requires strong communication in a high-performance team and a drive to develop professionally with support from the company. Hybrid working arrangements are in place in the UK.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant to own discipline.
• HNC or equivalent.
• Experience as a design engineer on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Knowledge of UK water industry standards.
• Proficient in use of computer analysis programmes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outline and detailed design for multi or single disciplinary projects as required.
• Follow and check procedures throughout project delivery.
• Report updates to senior Engineers, technical leads and the project management team on project progress.
• Apply procedures and systems to ensure the safety of staff and others affected by the operations of SYSTRA throughout design lifecycle.
• Contribute to company-wide goals and business improvement.
• Continue your own professional development with support from SYSTRA in line with your professional body.
• Any other duties as required.
