Job summary

Mott MacDonald is inviting graduates to join its Water Utility Division as a Graduate Electrical Engineer in a multidisciplinary team delivering critical infrastructure for clean water, wastewater, flood protection and environmental resilience.

You'll contribute to the full project lifecycle, develop electrical designs and technical drawings, collaborate with clients and specialists, and grow through mentoring, training and the Early Careers programme.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Some roles may require a master's degree as indicated in the opportunities list.
• Less than 12 months of relevant experience is expected for many graduate opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review electrical and ICA (EICA) designs for water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Develop drawings and documentation such as plant general arrangements, single-line diagrams, cable block diagrams, loop diagrams, P&IDs and I/O schedules.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors and internal teams to deliver integrated, sustainable solutions.
• Utilise digital tools and data-driven approaches to enhance design quality and efficiency.
• Receive mentoring and participate in the Early Careers Professional Network for growth.
