Job summary

Mott MacDonald is recruiting a Graduate Mechanical Engineer in Leeds to join the Mechanical Team. You will contribute to multi-disciplinary projects, working in the office or on-site during delivery and commissioning phases.

A supportive team will help you progress and develop your skills and engage in active project delivery. You’ll undertake calculations, liaise with Sub-Contractors & Suppliers, and assist with maintaining health and safety documentation and commissioning plans as part of a

• Strong foundational knowledge in mechanical engineering and design principles.
• Ability to learn quickly and apply engineering concepts to project tasks.
• Willingness to work across design, procurement and site phases.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering projects from concept through to hand back.
• Undertake calculations and use digital tools for design.
• Liaise with Sub-Contractors & Suppliers.
• Approve drawings and designs of suppliers.
• Oversee Sub-Contractors & Suppliers on site.
• Contribute to safety culture and commissioning documentation.
