Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join the Mechanical Team. You will work on mechanical design aspects, either in the office or on-site, supporting delivery and commissioning across water, energy and environment projects in the UK.

You will join a supportive team with opportunities to develop your skills and progress through an Early Careers Development Programme and a broad benefits package. Leeds-based role with permanent contract and full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate or due to graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng) or a post graduate qualification (MSc).
• Valid driving licence.
• Strong organisational, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering projects from initial concept through detailed design, procurement and construction to client hand back.
• Undertake engineering calculations and utilise digital techniques to produce the design.
• Liaise with Sub-Contractors & Suppliers.
• Approve Drawings and Designs of Suppliers.
• Oversee the activity of Sub-Contractors & Suppliers on Site.
• Assist with maintaining safety culture, and prepare O&M manuals and commissioning plans.
