Job summary

A leading education recruitment agency is seeking a Graduate Maths Learning Mentor in Leeds. This role offers a chance to gain valuable experience in an outstanding secondary school setting. Responsibilities include supporting pupils one-on-one and in small groups, covering lessons when needed, and ensuring compliance with safeguarding protocols. A degree in a maths-related field and tutor experience are preferred. Competitive remuneration of £100 - £130 per day, working Monday to Friday during term time.

Qualifications

• A degree with a minimum of 2:1 in a maths-related field is required.
• Experience in tutoring children is preferred.
• Candidates should be confident and passionate about education.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Cover lessons as required by the school.
• Provide support in classroom settings.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis and in class support
• Cover lessons as and when required
• Receive excellent support from the school and Aspire People
• DBS check required; safeguarding training provided

Remuneration

Long term position – Paid £100 – £130 per day. Work Monday – Friday school hours, term time only.

Requirements

• Degree 2:1 or above in a maths related degree
• Experience of tutoring is ideal
• Confident and enthusiastic, with a love of learning
