Job summary

The Graduate Network is seeking a Graduate Learning Mentor in Wolverhampton to provide 1:1 and small-group SEN support for students with additional needs. You will help pupils manage routines, stay engaged in lessons, and access learning more effectively.

You should be calm, observant, and capable of building positive relationships through consistency and clear communication, with an interest in educational or clinical psychology careers.

Qualifications

• Degree required: 2:2 or above in any subject.
• Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
• Enhanced DBS certificate required or willingness to obtain.
• Genuine interest in supporting pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Interested in pursuing a career in educational or clinical psychology.

The Role

Provide 1:1 and small-group support for students with additional needs across the school day. You will help pupils manage routines, stay engaged in lessons, regulate behaviour, build confidence, and access learning more successfully, while working closely with teaching and pastoral staff to support progress.

The Candidate

You are calm, observant, and able to build positive relationships through consistency and clear communication. You want practical secondary school experience, you can stay patient in a busy setting, and you are interested in how focused support helps young people with Autism, ADHD, and EBD feel more secure and make better progress.

Requirements

• Degree - A 2:2 or above in any subject.
