Job summary

The Graduate Network is seeking an Academic Learning Support Assistant for a secondary school in Wolverhampton. You will provide dedicated 1:1 support for a student across the national curriculum, helping them stay engaged in lessons and follow routines.

Working closely with teaching staff, you will reinforce classwork, support academic progress, and help the student build confidence throughout the school day. The role runs from September 2026 to July 2027, with a daily rate of £85–£101.

Qualifications

• Degree – A 2:2 or above in any subject.
• Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Genuine interest in supporting pupil progress and wellbeing.

You are calm, observant, and able to build trust through consistency and clear communication. You want practical school-based experience, you can stay patient in a busy secondary setting, and you are interested in how focused support helps a young person overcome barriers to learning and make steady progress.

Requirements
