Job summary

Optima Recruitment is offering an excellent opportunity for a graduate with an interest in IT support. The role includes full training and progression, with initial salary of £26,000 rising to £27,000 after probation and a hybrid work arrangement after training.

You will troubleshoot software/hardware issues, maintain networks and support multiple operating systems. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential as you interact with clients and teammates.

Qualifications

• Educated to Degree level or equivalent.
• Customer service experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive and enthusiastic approach to work.
• Good time management and prioritisation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline technical support and maintenance activities to meet service levels.
• Resolve queries or manage them through to resolution.
• Produce internal and customer-facing reports and documentation.
• Prioritise and track progress; elevate issues with customers and suppliers as needed.
• Assist the Operations Manager with customer support activities.
• Provide out of hours support in line with the schedule.
• Develop strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.
• Undertake training to maintain high technical knowledge.
• Communicate effectively with customers via phone, email and in person.
• Maintain ongoing communication and information with the customer.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
