Stantec Consulting International Ltd. invites graduates to join its UK Environmental Services team as a Graduate Geo-Environmental / Geo-Technical Engineer in Exeter or Bristol.

You will support major water, infrastructure, energy and brownfield projects across the UK, contributing from site investigations through to design and construction delivery. You will gain hands-on experience with geotechnical data, ground models, EIAs, and remediation strategies while pursuing chartership with bodies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Earth Sciences, or Environmental Science, accredited by a relevant professional body (GSL, ICE, IES, CIWEM).
• Willingness to develop through a structured progression plan toward chartership.

Responsibilities

• Analysing geological, geo-environmental, and geotechnical data.
• Delivering ground investigations and supporting EIAs.
• Assessing foundations, slope stability, and earthworks, and creating ground models.
• Conducting contaminated land risk assessments and remediation strategies.
• Monitoring fieldworks and designing/reporting on foundations, retaining walls, soil slope stability, earthworks, and rock slope stabilization.
• Utilising numerical analysis software and collaborating on multidisciplinary design and construction projects.
