Job summary
Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is offering a 2027 Graduate Programme as a Graduate Geo-Environmental / Geo-Technical Engineer in Exeter or Bristol.
You will join a multidisciplinary Environmental Services team and work on projects across the UK, from ground investigations to design and construction delivery. You will receive structured professional progression toward chartership (CGeol, CEng, CSci, or CEnv) with recognised bodies, supported by a dedicated development plan and mentorship
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Earth Sciences, or Environmental Science accredited by a relevant body.
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities in geo-environmental and geotechnical contexts.
- Willingness to work in Exeter or Bristol with a UK-wide project portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Analyse geological, geo-environmental and geotechnical data.
- Deliver ground investigations and support EIAs.
- Assess foundations, slope stability, and earthworks; create ground models.
- Conduct contaminated land risk assessments and remediation planning.
- Monitor fieldwork and design/report on foundations, retaining walls and earthworks.
- Utilise numerical analysis software in multidisciplinary design and construction projects.
