Stantec is inviting applications for a Graduate Geo-Environmental / Geo-Technical Engineer to join our Environmental Services team in Exeter or Bristol. You will contribute to a dynamic portfolio across the UK, supporting Infrastructure & Buildings, Water, Energy and Environmental Services units, and gain hands-on experience from site investigation through to design and construction delivery.

You will work within a close-knit ground engineering group, delivering solutions for water

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Earth Sciences, or Environmental Science (accredited).
• Accredited by relevant professional bodies (Geological Society, ICE, IES, CIWEM).
• Unrestricted right to live and work in the UK.
• Availability to work in Exeter or Bristol office four days per week.

Responsabilités

• Analyse geological, geo-environmental, and geotechnical data.
• Deliver ground investigations and support EIAs.
• Assess foundations, slope stability, and earthworks, and create ground models.
• Conduct contaminated land risk assessments and remediation strategies.
• Monitor fieldworks and design/report on foundations, retaining walls, slope stability, earthworks, and rock slope stabilization.
• Utilise numerical analysis software and collaborate on multidisciplinary projects.
