Job summary

COWI in Glasgow is seeking Graduate Engineers to contribute to ground engineering on prestigious UK infrastructure projects. You will work with experienced engineers toward Chartered status and develop through a tailored plan, including field data, modelling, and report preparation.

You will collaborate across ground investigations, geotechnical design, and site supervision, while focusing on quality and sustainability. Hybrid working and a structured development path are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or Geology with MSc expected or completed this summer.
• Desire to become a Chartered Engineer or Chartered Geologist with persistence to achieve it.
• Some practical engineering environment experience (year in industry, placements, or final year project).

Responsibilities

• Carry out geotechnical design activities from data interpretation to numerical modelling and report drafting.
• Undertake engineering geological mapping and ground modelling at site scale.
• Support and supervise ground investigations on site across varied conditions and projects.
• Check calculations and drawings to expand technical judgment and ensure quality.
