Job summary

Arup, a global consultancy, is seeking a graduate in Ground Engineering/Geotechnical fields to support early-stage project work across ground investigations, models and earthworks. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated design solutions for infrastructure and built environment projects.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate/Bachelor’s level in Ground Eng./Geotechnical Eng./Civil Eng./Geology and Earth Sciences.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Full working rights in the country of application.
• No more than 12 months of full-time experience in a comparable role.
• Recently graduated or on track to graduate before employment starts.

Responsibilities

• Assessing site constraints, geological hazards and ground conditions to help shape projects at early stages.
• Analysing ground investigation data to derive ground models and parameters for use in design.
• Representing Arup on site during ground investigations, earthworks and other construction activities.
• Delivering Total Design by working closely with other disciplines to provide integrated project solutions.
• Written and verbal communication during all stages of projects, from initial optioneering through to detailed design.

Education

Undergraduate/Bachelor’s level (or equivalent; Master’s preferred) in Ground Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology and Earth Sciences
