Job summary

Arup is looking for graduates to join its Geotechnical group across UK offices. You will contribute to buildings and infrastructure projects, focusing on ground investigations, design, and geotechnical analyses while working with multidisciplinary teams.

The role offers hands-on fieldwork, opportunities for professional accreditation, and a pathway to growth within a global engineering consultancy known for sustainable design and digital transformation.

Qualifications

Undergraduate / Bachelor's level in Ground / Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology/Geophysics/Tunnelling/Seismic.
Experience with coding languages, finite element software or digital design; GIS; understanding of Eurocode.
Interest or experience in offshore and energy geotechnics, tunnelling, seismology, geophysics, problem solving and communication.

Responsibilities

Deliver effective and professional geotechnical services for a range of high-profile clients.
Work in multi-disciplinary design teams including Rail, Water, Civil, Tunnelling, Buildings and Bridges, focusing on geotechnical aspects through the project lifecycle.
Support field activities from desk studies to ground investigations and site monitoring.
