Job summary

Arup is seeking graduates to join our Geotechnical Engineers team across UK offices. From day one you’ll join a community of experts, supported in your career path and guided toward professional accreditation.

You’ll work on projects across highways, rail, energy, water, and buildings, applying geotechnical expertise from desk studies to ground investigations, with opportunities to engage in carbon management and site monitoring.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate/Bachelor’s level in Ground/Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology/Geophysics/Tunnelling/Seismic
• Experience with coding languages, finite element software or digital design
• GIS
• Understanding of the principles of Eurocode
• Experience or interest in offshore geotechnics, tunnelling, engineering seismology, engineering geology, geophysics
• Technical excellence, problem solving and communication (written and verbal)

Responsibilities

• Deliver effective geotechnical services to diverse clients and projects.
• Work in multi-disciplinary design teams across Rail, Water, Civil, Tunnelling, Buildings and Bridges.
• Conduct desk studies, ground investigations, and geotechnical design throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist with carbon management and site monitoring activities.
