Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Graduate Civil/Environmental Engineer to join our water resources team in Manchester. You'll work on dams, reservoirs, water supply and flood risk projects, with a flexible hybrid working model and a broad benefits package.

You'll design with CAD, support project management, conduct field visits, meet clients and collaborate with colleagues. A 2:1 BEng is expected and ICE/CIWEM qualifications encouraged; UK right to work is required.

Qualifications

• BEng in Civil or Civil and Environmental Engineering with 2:1 (or equivalent).
• MEng in Civil or Civil and Environmental Engineering-related MSc would be an advantage.
• Water related modules would be an advantage.
• Relevant work experience would be an advantage.
• Willing to work towards ICE & CIWEM professional qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Design: create/modify drawings using CAD software and perform calculations.
• Project management support: assist in research, data gathering, and reports.
• Field visits: conduct site surveys and inspections.
• Collaboration & communication: meetings with clients and contractors.
