Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree would be advantageous
• Water-related modules or relevant work experience are a plus

Responsibilities

• Undertake numerical analysis using specialist software for dams and reservoirs
• Stay up-to-date with regulatory legislation affecting design work
• Carry out research and apply theory to new situations
• Undertake feasibility studies evaluating technical, safety, cost and environmental aspects
• Prepare designs, drawings, specifications and contracts
• Write reports and present to colleagues, clients and regulators
• Attend site visits to support dam inspections and understand asset performance
