AZTRUM is recruiting a Graduate Flood Risk Engineer to join its Leicester office on a hybrid basis. You will work within a team specialising in flood risk, drainage and associated civil/ environmental engineering projects for UK clients.

The role involves delivering Flood Risk Assessments, drainage design using Infodrainage and Causeway Flow, and supporting planning applications with practical solutions for diverse sectors.

Competenze

• BSc and/or MSc in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or equivalent).
• Dissertation or module projects focused on flood risk assessments, drainage strategies and/or drainage design.
• Residency near Leicester and ability to work from the office 3+ days a week.

Mansioni

• Conduct Flood Risk Assessments for zones 1–3.
• Prepare Flood Risk Maps and Mitigation strategies.
• Develop drainage strategies for Planning Applications.
• Design drainage, attenuation and sewerage solutions.
• Assist with access road design and earthworks modelling.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss progress.

My Client, a market leading Engineering and Environmental Consultancy based with offices in Leicester, are searching for a Graduate Flood Risk Engineer to join their supportive team. You will be required to work from the office on a hybrid basis.

This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join an experienced design team who specialise in flood risk, infrastructure, civil and structural engineering for public and private sector clients across the UK. With a wide portfolio of projects you will have the chance to design flood risk, drainage and foul drainage solutions for Residential, Commercial, Retail, Healthcare and Education Sectors.

As a Graduate Flood Risk Engineer you will be required to complete varied technical work including:

• Flood Risk Assessments for flood zone 1,2 and 3.
• Flood Risk Maps.
• Flood Risk Mitigation.
• Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications.
• Drainage, attenuation and sewerage design using Infodrainage and causeway flow.
• Access road design for developments.
• Earthworks Modelling.
• Client meetings to discuss project progress.
