Job summary

AZTRUM is seeking a Graduate Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer for its Leicester office on a hybrid basis. You will join an experienced design team delivering flood risk, drainage and infrastructure projects across the UK for public and private sector clients.

Key tasks include Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Risk Maps, Drainage Strategies and attenuation design using Infodrainage and Causeway Flow, plus earthworks modelling and client meetings to discuss progress.

Qualifications

• Strong BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering.
• Dissertation or module projects focused on flood risk assessments, drainage strategies and/or drainage design.

My Client, a market leading Engineering and Environmental Consultancy based with offices in Leicester, are searching for a Graduate Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join their supportive team. You will be required to work from the office on a hybrid basis.

This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join an experienced design team who specialise in flood risk, infrastructure, civil and structural engineering for public and private sector clients across the UK. With a wide portfolio of projects you will have the chance to design flood risk, drainage and foul drainage solutions for Residential, Commercial, Retail, Healthcare and Education Sectors.

As a Graduate Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer you will be required to complete varied technical work including;

• Flood Risk Assessments for flood zone 1,2 and 3.
• Flood Risk Maps.
• Flood Risk Mitigation.
• Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications.
• Drainage, attenuation and sewerage design using Infodrainage and causeway flow.
• Access road design for developments.
• Earthworks Modelling.
• Client meetings to discuss project progress.
