Job summary

My Client is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join their office-based hybrid team in Leicester. You will work on flood risk, drainage, and infrastructure projects across residential, commercial, retail and education sectors for public and private clients across the UK.

You will complete varied technical work including flood risk assessments, maps, drainage strategies and road/earthworks design, with a strong emphasis on local office presence 3+ days a week.

Qualifications

• BSc and/or MSc in Civil or Environmental Engineering required, with focus on flood risk or drainage topics.
• Experience with flood risk assessments, drainage strategies and drainage design is desirable for graduates.
• Proven ability to work in a hybrid office environment and attend client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Flood Risk Assessments for zones 1–3.
• Prepare Flood Risk Maps and Mitigation strategies.
• Develop Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications.
• Design drainage, attenuation and sewerage using Infodrainage and Causeway Flow.
• Contribute to access road design and Earthworks Modelling.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss project progress.

My Client, a market leading Engineering and Environmental Consultancy based with offices in Leicester, are searching for a Graduate Civil Engineer to join their supportive team. Candidates must live locally as you will be required to work from the office on a hybrid basis.

This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join an experienced design team who specialise in flood risk, infrastructure, civil and structural engineering for public and private sector clients across the UK. With a wide portfolio of projects you will have the chance to design flood risk, drainage and foul drainage solutions for Residential, Commercial, Retail, Healthcare and Education Sectors.

As a Graduate Civil Engineer you will be required to complete varied technical work including;
