Job summary

AZTRUM is seeking a Graduate Flood Risk Consultant to join their engineering and environmental team on a hybrid basis. You will work on flood risk, drainage and sewerage design for UK projects across various sectors, with a supportive team and opportunities for progression.

The role requires a strong BSc/MSc in Civil Engineering, Environmental Management, Hydrology or Environmental Engineering, with a dissertation focused on flood risk or drainage topics.

Qualifications

• Strong BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering, Environmental Management, Hydrology or Environmental Engineering.
• Dissertation focused on flood risk assessments, drainage strategies or drainage design.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Flood Risk Assessments for various flood zones.
• Perform Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS.
• Develop Flood Mitigation Schemes and drainage strategies.
• Design drainage, attenuation and sewerage solutions for planning applications.
• Carry out access road design for developments.
• Attend client meetings to discuss project progress.

My Client, a market leading Engineering and Environmental Consultancy based with offices across the UK, are searching for a Graduate Flood Risk Consultant to join their supportive team. You will be required to work from the office on a hybrid basis.

This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join an experienced design team who specialise in flood risk, infrastructure, civil and structural engineering for public and private sector clients across the UK. With a wide portfolio of projects you will have the chance to design flood risk, drainage and foul drainage solutions for Residential, Commercial, Retail, Healthcare and Education Sectors.

As a Graduate Flood Risk Consultant you will be required to complete varied technical work including:

• Flood Risk Assessments for flood zone 1,2 and 3.
• Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS.
• Flood Mitigation Schemes.
• Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications.
• Drainage, attenuation and sewerage design using Infodrainage and causeway flow.
• Access road design for developments.
• Client meetings to discuss project progress.
