Balmoral Comtec Limited in Aberdeen is seeking a disciplined Mechanical/Structural Engineer to design and develop products from concept to production. You will produce accurate engineering documentation and support validation activities, collaborating with a skilled team in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasises CAD tools (Autodesk Inventor), FEA (ANSYS), and engineering software to drive cost reductions and future innovations while maintaining high-quality standards.

Formación

• Degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering (or related).
• Membership of a professional engineering institution or pursuing Chartered status desirable.
• Experience with CAD software and FE analysis tools is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential.

Responsabilidades

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline (desirable to hold membership of a professional engineering institution or interest in pursuing Chartered status).
• Knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, preferably Autodesk Inventor. (Desirable experience with OrcaFlex and Mathcad).
• Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software such as ANSYS.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure.
• Motivation to learn and develop within a professional engineering environment.
