Job summary

Freudenberg Group is seeking an Engineer to design and develop products from concept through production. You will produce accurate documentation and support engineering software tools, while contributing to tests and product validation activities.

The role involves cost-reduction initiatives and managing engineering information, with opportunities to contribute to future product innovations in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering; Chartered status optional.
• Proficient in CAD software (Autodesk Inventor) and FEA (ANSYS).
• Desirable OrcaFlex and Mathcad experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Accurate and able to work under pressure.
• Motivated to learn and develop in a professional engineering environment.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline (desirable to hold membership of a professional engineering institution or interest in pursuing Chartered status).
• Knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, preferably Autodesk Inventor. (Desirable experience with OrcaFlex and Mathcad).
• Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software such as ANSYS.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure.
• Motivation to learn and develop within a professional engineering environment.
