Job summary

Freudenberg Sealing Technologies S.a.s. di Externa Italia S.r.l.u. seeks a capable Project Engineer to manage customer projects from handover to completion.

The role involves coordinating manufacturing, procurement, logistics and monitoring schedules, budgets and progress, while communicating status and risks to clients and internal teams. You will support product testing, document final records and drive continuous PM process improvements.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; degree in engineering is desirable.
• Minimum 3 years in a project engineering/management environment.
• Experience in manufacturing or engineering projects.
• Strong commercial awareness and project coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.

• Support product testing activities and coordinate customer witnessing requirements.


• Prepare commercial and technical project documentation, including final project records.


• Drive continuous improvement of project management processes and departmental procedures.

Qualifications:

• HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering or equivalent relevant experience. (Desirable: Degree in an Engineering discipline, additional project management or engineering qualifications).


• Minimum 3 years' experience in a project engineering or project management environment.


• Experience within manufacturing or engineering projects.


• Strong commercial awareness and project coordination skills.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
