Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our Water Utility Division in the UK. You’ll work across the full project lifecycle from feasibility to commissioning, growing your technical and project management skills with mentoring and formal development.

You’ll design electrical and ICA designs for water and wastewater infrastructure, produce drawings and schematics, and collaborate with clients, contractors and internal teams to deliver sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 0–12 months relevant experience
• Eligible for graduate opportunities in UK
• Interest in water infrastructure and multi-disciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Design electrical and ICA designs for water/wastewater infrastructure
• Create drawings and schematics (plant GA, P&IDs, single-line diagrams)
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams
• Apply digital tools and data-driven approaches to improve design quality
• Gain exposure to project and commercial management with mentoring
