Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley, a design-and-build specialist, is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to support multi-disciplinary projects in the Water and Wastewater sectors. You’ll work with the Mechanical, Electrical and Process Team, spending time on site and in offices as projects progress, with travel within the Scottish Water framework.

You’ll join a supportive team that fosters growth, with a clear development path and exposure to commissioning and safety planning.

Qualifications

• Graduate with a degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• Valid driving license.
• Ability to develop understanding of civil engineering principles and practices that are impacted by M&E.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of design and build construction projects in Water and Wastewater sectors.
• Onsite coordination with the site Project Team and collaboration with project management and design colleagues.
• Liaise with clients and supply chain; manage M&E suppliers and subcontractors.
• Review constructability of drawings and designs from suppliers.
• Oversee M&E contractors on site and ensure safety documentation and commissioning plans.
• Assist with safety culture and OMS/maintenance materials.
