Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Water Team with opportunities across North and Midlands offices and a flexible hybrid working model.

You’ll design and review electrical and ICA elements for water and wastewater projects, lead design stages, mentor junior staff and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver compliant, high-quality solutions for major water clients.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the design of water and wastewater engineering deliverables with multi-disciplinary knowledge.
• Experience at a senior engineer level in a consultancy within the water sector.
• Experience in managing projects, delegating tasks and technical mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Undertake the design and review of electrical and ICA elements in wastewater and water infrastructure / treatment projects.
• Lead design stages from feasibility through construction and ensure compliance with design standards.
• Collaborate with other discipline teams across regions to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Mentor junior staff and support bid/tender processes.
