Job summary

Mott MacDonald Ltd. recruits graduates for a role as Graduate Hydraulic Engineer.

The position focuses on developing technical and project management skills while contributing to the planning, design and improvement of water supply, wastewater and drainage networks across the UK and internationally. You’ll work with multidisciplinary teams and access training and mentorship as part of a three-year early careers program.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have a master’s degree (obtained no earlier than 2025) or be due to achieve one of the listed disciplines.
• Less than 12 months of relevant experience (excluding placements).

Responsibilities

• Support development and delivery of water, wastewater and drainage projects to improve network performance and resilience.
• Analyse data and technical information to identify challenges and inform decisions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and improve water infrastructure.
• Contribute to projects addressing flooding, environmental protection and water quality.
• Develop technical knowledge using industry tools and digital technologies.
• Produce technical reports and present findings to clients.
