Job summary

Arup is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems for essential infrastructure across water, energy, power and industrial sectors. You’ll join multidisciplinary teams and develop practical solutions while progressing toward professional accreditation.

You will work with experienced engineers, use CAD/BIM tools, and contribute to calculations, specifications and reports, with opportunities to visit sites as needed to support project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (2.1+).
• IET accreditation or equivalent desirable.
• Good CAD/BIM understanding; design project experience beneficial.
• Some coding experience and comfort with digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical calculations and equipment selection.
• Produce specifications and designs, BIM and digital modelling.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and prepare reports.
• Support site activities and technical documentation.
