Job summary

Arup is seeking graduates for a power systems analysis role within our Glasgow team. You’ll help ensure systems operate safely during the energy transition, analyzing networks and connections and collaborating with experts across disciplines.

From day one you’ll join an active community of engineers, with opportunities to gain professional accreditation, work on diverse infrastructure projects worldwide, and develop CAD/BIM and coding skills in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field (2:1 or above) would be advantageous.
• IET-accredited course studied.
• Good understanding of CAD and BIM; experience with design projects.
• Some experience with coding languages; ability to learn 3D design software.
• Analytical thinker with proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the power system to ensure network integrity and safe operation.
• Perform detailed assessments of existing networks and new connections.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across projects.
• Support the energy transition objectives for clients.
• Develop and apply CAD/BIM capabilities in project work.
