Job summary
Arup is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems for essential infrastructure. You’ll work in multidisciplinary teams across water, energy, and industrial sectors, building technical capability through real project experience while pursuing professional accreditation.
You’ll join an expert community, developing CAD/BIM skills, engaging in design, reports and site activities, with opportunities to grow and contribute from day one.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (2.1 or above).
- Master’s degree (2:1 or above) would be advantageous.
- Integrated Master’s degree in electrical/renewable engineering.
- IET-accredited course or equivalent accreditation.
- Good understanding of CAD and BIM and experience of design projects.
- Some experience with coding languages is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical calculations and equipment selection.
- Produce specifications and detailed designs.
- Develop BIM and digital modelling outputs.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines on projects.
- Prepare technical reports and supporting site activities.
- Collaborate with specialists to deliver multi-disciplinary projects.
