Job summary

Arup in London is recruiting Graduates Electrical Engineers to join our multi-disciplinary design teams, with an IET accredited training scheme to support professional status and extensive training opportunities.

Responsibilities include design of power distribution, lighting, fire detection, earth and lightning protection; short circuit studies; 3D design in Revit MEP; collaboration with architects and engineers.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate/Bachelor's in Electrical or Architectural Engineering.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word; basic knowledge of building services.
• Recently graduated or on track to graduate before employment starts.

Responsibilities

• Design power distribution, lighting, fire detection, earthing and lightning protection.
• Short circuit, overcurrent coordination and maximum demand studies.
• Lighting photometric modelling.
• Technical report writing.
• Work in 3D using Revit MEP.
• Development of reports and electrical calculations.
• Collaborate with Architects and Fire Engineers & other disciplines.
