Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley seeks an early-career Electrical Engineer in Leeds to join a fully integrated design and build team. You’ll work across water, energy and environment sectors, contributing to outlines and detailed designs, drawings and reports within a One-Team culture.

You'll progress through our Early Careers Development Programme, with a path to Chartered status, supported by a comprehensive benefits package and flexible pension.

Qualifications

• Graduated or due to graduate with a degree in Electrical Engineering (BEng) or a post graduate qualification (MSc).
• Excellent verbal communication skills enabling liaising with clients and team members.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail, with ability to produce accurate technical drawings and reports.
• Methodical approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outline and detailed electrical engineering designs and calculations.
• Produce technical and commercial specifications, drawings and schedules.
• Collaborate with commercial and construction teams to develop efficient, practical and safe solutions across design, construction and beyond.
• Prepare documents, reports and health and safety risk assessments.
• Engage with the Client to manage relationships and support their aims.
