Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is a joint venture between Mott MacDonald and JN Bentley, delivering electrical design and build services across the UK. This office-based role includes travel to sites when required and is supported by a structured Early Careers Development Programme.

You will work with the design, commercial and construction teams to deliver safe, efficient engineering solutions and thorough documentation. A pathway to Chartered status is supported through our development schemes.

Qualifications

• Graduated or due to graduate with a degree in Electrical Engineering (BEng) or a post graduate qualification (MSc).
• Excellent verbal communication skills enabling confident liaison with clients and team members.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail with accurate technical drawings and reports.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outline and detailed electrical engineering designs and calculations.
• Produce technical and commercial specifications, drawings and schedules.
• Collaborate with commercial and construction teams to develop safe, practical design solutions throughout all stages.
• Prepare documents, reports and health and safety risk assessments.
• Engage with the Client, managing relationships and supporting their aims.
