Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley in the UK is seeking an Electrical Engineer at graduate level to design and calculate electrical systems for water, energy and environment projects. The role is predominantly office-based with occasional site travel, offering a clear pathway to professional chartership.

You will prepare drawings, specifications and reports, work with commercial and construction teams to develop safe, practical solutions, and engage with clients to build strong One‑Team relationships.

Qualifications

• Graduated or due to graduate with a degree in Electrical Engineering (BEng) or a post graduate qualification (MSc)
• Excellent verbal communication skills enabling liaison with clients and team members
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail with accurate technical drawings and good report writing
• Methodical approach to problem solving

Responsibilities

• Prepare outline and detailed electrical engineering designs and calculations.
• Produce technical and commercial specifications, drawings and schedules
• Collaborate with commercial and construction teams to develop safe, practical solutions across design and build stages
• Prepare documents, reports and health and safety risk assessments
• Engage with the Client, managing relationships and supporting them in achieving their aims
