Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is a fully integrated design and build team, seeking an Electrical Engineer to contribute to design and build across water, energy and environment sectors in the UK. You will prepare outline and detailed electrical designs, calculations, specifications, drawings and schedules, collaborating with commercial and construction teams to deliver practical, safe solutions.

The role is predominantly office-based with some site travel.

Qualifications

• Graduated or due to graduate with a degree in Electrical Engineering (BEng) or a post graduate qualification (MSc)
• Excellent verbal communication skills, which allow you to confidently liaise with clients and team members.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail, and be able to demonstrate accurate technical drawings and good report writing
• Methodical approach to problem solving

Responsibilities

• Prepare outline and detailed electrical engineering designs and calculations.
• Produce technical and commercial specifications, drawings and schedules
• Work closely and collaboratively with the commercial and construction teams to develop efficient, practical and safe solutions throughout design stages, construction and beyond.
• Prepare documents, reports and health and safety risk assessments
• Positively engage with the Client, managing relationships and adopting a One-Team approach to support them in achieving their aims.
