Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking an Electrical Engineer for an office-based role with occasional site travel. You will prepare outlines and detailed electrical designs, calculations and specifications, and work alongside commercial and construction teams to deliver practical, safe solutions throughout design and construction phases.

You will be part of our Early Careers Development Programme with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to progress toward Chartered status on projects

Qualifications

• Graduated or due to graduate with a degree in Electrical Engineering (BEng) or a post graduate qualification (MSc)
• Excellent verbal communication skills, which allow you to confidently liaise with clients and team members.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail, and be able to demonstrate accurate technical drawings and good report writing
• Methodical approach to problem solving

Responsibilities

• Prepare outline and detailed electrical engineering designs and calculations.
• Produce technical and commercial specifications, drawings and schedules
• Work closely and collaboratively with the commercial and construction teams to develop efficient, practical and safe solutions throughout design stages, construction and beyond.
• Prepare documents, reports and health and safety risk assessments
• Positively engage with the Client, managing relationships and adopting a One-Team approach to support them in achieving their aims.
