Job summary

Bridges Electrical Engineering in the UK is seeking a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to join our Design team, focused on water and wastewater projects. You will learn under experienced engineers, gain exposure across the full project lifecycle, and work toward professional registration.

This role emphasizes hands-on design, collaboration with CAD and other teams, mentoring, and progression toward independent ownership of defined tasks within our safety‑driven, quality‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in electrical engineering and developing a career in design.
• Willingness to learn and work across lifecycle stages from design to handover.
• Basic understanding of electrical distribution, control and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning project scopes and surveys under guidance.
• Prepare electrical design documents and calculations under supervision.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project requirements.
• Support RAMS and site visit planning in line with procedures.
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
