Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking graduates in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering to join our Water Consultancy team in the UK. You will support design work across water and wastewater infrastructure from feasibility through to detailed design and construction delivery.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers to prepare calculations, drawings, schedules and reports, gaining hands-on experience with design standards, QA, and health and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Required: a degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; interest in engineering design and UK water sector; good communication; basic MS Office/Excel; willingness to travel.
• Desirable: modules/project work in water/wastewater engineering; familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, GIS or BIM; internship or project experience in engineering/infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Support live design projects by preparing technical information, calculations, drawings, schedules and reports.
• Contribute to calculations, drawings, specifications, design reports and technical investigations.
• Develop understanding of design standards, health and safety, QA and UK Water Frameworks requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, buildable and sustainable solutions.
