Bridges Electrical Engineering is looking for a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to join our Design team. You will develop knowledge and practical experience to become a competent Electrical Design Engineer within the water and wastewater industry.

You will be mentored by experienced engineers, participate in the full project lifecycle, and progressively take ownership of defined tasks, aligned with our technical standards and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in electrical design and willingness to develop in water/wastewater sector.
• Strong numeracy and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of electrical distribution, control and instrumentation principles.
• Willingness to travel to client locations and sites for project work.

Responsabilités

• Assist in developing EICA designs under supervision and technical checking.
• Produce electrical design documentation (one-line diagrams, load/cable schedules, equipment layouts).
• Support technical calculations (loading, voltage drop, fault levels, protection).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate design requirements.
• Prepare and maintain design records, RFIs and technical queries.
