Kier invites applications for a Graduate Construction Manager to join our Birmingham region team. The role focuses on planning, coordination, and supervision of construction projects, with a clear path from graduate to assistant level over a two-year programme, in a structured, supportive environment.

Starting salary £31,000 per annum with car allowance where applicable on some contracts; starting date September 2027.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Clear motivation to pursue a career in construction management.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
• Works well in a team and demonstrates collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assist in management and coordination of construction projects from start to finish.
• Support Site Manager in daily site operations and safety compliance.
• Monitor progress, schedules, costs and quality control.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors and stakeholders.
• Maintain site records including progress reports and deliveries.
