Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Graduate Construction Manager to join our team in the Northampton region. You’ll support planning, coordination and supervision of construction projects, ensuring timely delivery and high quality.

This 2-year permanent, full-time programme leads to an assistant level role with salary potential around CIRCA £38k. Starting September 2027, and note we are unable to sponsor certificates of sponsorship for this role.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Construction Project Management, Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Strong motivation to learn and develop professionally in construction management.
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
• Team player with collaboration, reliability and respect for others.
• Full driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overall management and coordination of construction projects from start to finish.
• Support the Site Manager in day-to-day site operations and health & safety compliance.
• Monitor project progress, schedules, costs and quality control measures.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors and stakeholders for effective project execution.
• Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, safety logs and material deliveries.
