Job summary

Tilbury Douglas is seeking a Graduate Construction Manager to begin a hands-on career on live projects in the North West. You will rotate across key areas, supporting site operations, coordinating subcontractors and contributing to planning, progress reviews and reporting.

You will learn from experienced professionals, gain exposure to quality and safety standards, and develop leadership and technical skills toward professional accreditation as you advance your career on site in Warrington and

Qualifications

• A degree (2:2 or above) in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
• A full UK driving licence, or be working towards obtaining one by February 2027.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• A collaborative mindset with enthusiasm to learn and take on responsibility.
• A keen eye for detail, quality and safe working practices.
• Previous placement or site experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day management of site operations, helping to keep works safe, efficient and on programme.
• Support the coordination of subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Contribute to planning meetings, progress reviews and project updates.
• Monitor quality standards, health and safety compliance, and environmental performance.
• Help manage site logistics, temporary works and the sequencing of construction activities.
• Develop an understanding of commercial processes, including cost control and project reporting.
• Produce and maintain accurate site records, reports and documentation.
• Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project teams.
