Qualifications

  • Must have a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management or related discipline (2:2 or above).
  • Full UK driving licence or working towards by February 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Assist day-to-day site operations to keep works safe, on programme and efficient.

  • Monitor quality standards, health and safety compliance, and environmental performance.
  • Help manage site logistics, temporary works and sequencing of activities.
  • Develop understanding of commercial processes, including cost control and reporting.
  • Produce and maintain accurate site records, reports and documentation.
  • Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project teams.

Graduate Construction Manager

As a Graduate Construction (Site) Manager, you'll gain hands-on experience from day one, working alongside experienced site managers, project managers and delivery teams. You'll support the planning, coordination and delivery of live construction projects, helping to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

You'll develop a strong understanding of how projects are delivered from start to finish, building your technical, organisational and leadership skills while contributing to important buildings and infrastructure that make a real difference to the communities they serve.

This is a site-based role, with your initial project expected to be based in Birmingham and the West Midlands Regin, helping you build broad operational experience and a strong foundation for your career in construction management.

What you'll be doing

As a Graduate Construction Manager, you'll rotate across key areas to develop your skills and gain the experience you need to progress towards professional accreditation.

No two days are the same and, with the support of experienced colleagues, you'll:

What we're looking for

Selection Process Timeline
  • Video Interview- Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a video interview. Invitations will be sent between 16 November and 1 December 2026, and candidates will have one week to complete and submit their interview.
  • Interview- Successful candidates will progress to a formal interview, taking place between 11 and 27 January 2027.
  • Offer- Successful candidates will receive an offer by the week ending 12 February 2027.
