Job summary

Tilbury Douglas is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead site operations from inception to completion on key projects in the UK. You will manage day-to-day activities, coordinate clients and subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality and financial objectives are met.

The role requires a construction degree, SMSTS, CSCS, and a strong track record in main contractor environments. You will report to the Senior Management Team and champion continuous improvement across project delivery.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as Site/Senior Site Manager in a main contractor role.
• Degree (or equivalent) in a construction discipline; SMSTS and CSCS required.
• Strong commercial/financial awareness; familiarity with NEC/JCT contracts.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management; team development track record.
• Experience in secure environments and ability to obtain security clearance (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day site operations, delivering safely, on programme and in line with contracts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Implement Health & Safety, Quality, Sustainability, Environmental policies and drive improvements.
• Develop site teams through coaching, performance reviews and mentoring.
